The bachelor study programs Physical Education and Sport and Kinesiology and special motricity have a dual mission:
- Didactic mission- aiming at training specialistswith higher educationinPhysical Education,Sportsand Kinesiology;
- Scientific mission- field research.
Due to the profile that fits these study programs, the studies will be completed by granting Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education and Sports or Kinesiology.
Although specialized disciplines have a majority share in these study programs, they do not hold an exclusive position, students’ training being completed with the study of some fundamental disciplines (medical-biological, social, psychological) or complementary disciplines (foreign languages, audio – video techniques) regarding the social implications of physical exercise, the body knowledge and its relationships with social and natural environment.
The main purpose of these study programs is to ensure specialized training required for those who will activate in physical education, sports and kinesiology, in order to raise the level of professionalism and competence to the European Union requirements.
Implementing these study programs in an university center enrolls in Romanian education reform by creating a competitive environment that will lead to raising the quality of teaching.
